Joyce Ritchie McDaniel Berry

Joyce Ritchie McDaniel Berry, 75, of Caraway passed away Sunday, Dec. 22, 2013, at her home. Born Sept. 5, 1938 in Trumann, she was the daughter of the late Troy "Bunk" and Freda Adams Ritchie and was a longtime area resident. Mrs. Berry was a member of the Milligan Ridge Baptist Church but attended the First Baptist Church in Caraway. She was also a member of the Caraway Lions Club and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Bernard Berry of the home; one daughter, Sandra McDaniel Adcock and husband Roger of Caraway; one son, Jerry Berry and wife Stephanie of Caraway; one stepson, Mike McDaniel and wife Conni of Jonesboro; grandchildren, Jordan and Haley Adcock, JeraBeth, Brooklyn and Landon Berry, all of Caraway; one niece, Patti Fowlkes of Union City, Tenn.; one nephew, Mike Miller of West Memphis. Mrs. Berry also leaves a host of other family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Francis Miller.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 27, at the First United Methodist Church in Caraway with Bro. Rick Stevens officiating. Burial will follow in the Caraway Cemetery under the direction of Faith Funeral Service.

The family will receive visitors from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the church.
