Monette Christmas Parade
The annual Monette Christmas parade was held Monday, Dec. 2, with antiques cars, trucks, ATVs, motorcycles, floats, horses and Santa arriving on Bertha Ray's float.
Parade chairman Kay Staggs was named the grand marshal for the parade. Kay started being part of the parade in 1988 and has served as chairman since 1994.
Ms. Staggs expressed her appreciation to everyone who has helped throughout the years. She said this is her last year to serve as chairman.
