Riverside traveled to Black Rock and came away with an easy 81-47 win over the Zebras in a shortened week of basketball action due to the Thanksgiving holiday.

Caleb Waugh poured in six three pointers and finished with a game high 26 points, all in the first half, to lead the Rebels, who improved to 6-3 on the year. Kollin Stone scored 13 points while Devon Austin added 10.

Caleb McKenzie led the Zebras with 17 points.

In junior boys action, Riverside stormed past Black Rock 58-22. Gavin Stone paced the Rebels with 16 points while Dylan Davis and Cannon Walling added 12 and 10 points respectively.

The Rebels will resume play this week as the number one seed in the Williams Baptist College Tournament in Walnut Ridge. Riverside will also play host to Rector Tuesday night in 2A-3 conference play.

The Lady Rebels defeated Black Rock 59-35. Riverside (7-1) was led by Kenzley Wilson who scored 14 points, along with Skylar Kauke who added 10.

In junior girls play, Hannah Robertson poured in 17 points while Bailey Fisher added 11 to lead the Lady Rebels to a 48-17 win over the Zebras.

The Lady Rebels host Rector in conference play Monday night in Lake City, and will also participate in the Gerald Jennings Tournament at East Poinsett County.
