Geraldine T. Leifheit

Mrs. Geraldine T. Leifheit, 74, of Manila, Ark., passed away Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2013, at the St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro, Ark. Born in Blytheville, Ark., she was the daughter of the late William and Ina Edward Langley. Mrs. Leifheit was a member of the New Liberty Baptist Church in Blytheville and enjoyed crocheting, crafts and spending time with grandchildren. She always had a smile on her face and never met a stranger.

She is survived by two daughters, Traci Fortner and husband Dale of Manila, and Karen Hillman of Murray, Ky.; two brothers, W.T. Langley and wife Mary Ann of Blytheville, and Tommy Langley and wife Nola of Spring Hill, Fla.; a sister, Linda Sander and husband Wayne of Broken Arrow, Okla.; one sister-in-law, Ruth Ann Langley of Blytheville; grandchildren, David Owens of Guatemala, Chris Owens of Jonesboro, Laci Owens of Manila, Raymond Owens of Murray, Ky., Eric Owens of Paragould, Ark., Elizabeth Malone of Murray, Ky., Rebekah Hillman of Bowling Green, Ky., and Morgan Hillman of Murray, Ky.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Damon Owens and one brother, Bill Langley.

The family has requested private services and disposition under the direction of Faith Funeral Service of Manila, Ark. In lieu of flowers, the family requests any donations be made to Alzheimer's research.
