Cutting hair for VFW Mane event

Manila Veteran Mike Warrenfells will have his hair cut to support veteran projects.

Manila veteran Mike Warrenfells has joined the VFW Mane Event kicked off by football playerTroy Polamalue in a fund-raising effort to raise money for veterans.

Warrenfells has almost $300 raised in his campaign and as of Monday, Nov. 4, a total of $183,296 has been raised for the VFW Mane event.

Warrenfells has committed to get his hair cut on Veterans Day at 1 p.m. He has not had a hair cut in six years. His hair cut will benefit the VFW Mane event and as a double gift, it will be donated to the Locks of Love. He plans to participate in the Manila Veteran's Day Ceremony on Monday, Nov. 11, at 11 a.m. and then in the afternoon have his hair cut at Raw Current.
