The Mississippi County Library System is looking for old year books and old phone books.

Wednesday, October 23, 2013

Jay Ziolko, director of the Mississippi County Library System, explained old year books and old phone books help people trace family history, reconnect with old friends and provide an overall history of the county. He said the older the book the better, but new yearbooks and phonebooks can be donated as well.

"They can come from any town, high school or college in Mississippi County," Ziolko said. "We really want to have a complete collection of phone books and year books for each community in Mississippi County."

Any one that wants to donate a year book or phone book can do so by dropping them off at any Mississippi County Library System location including Blytheville, Osceola, Leachville, Manila, Keiser, Wilson and Luxora.
