Buffalo Island School Board approves budget
The Buffalo Island Central School Board reviewed and approved the 2013-2014 budget at a special called meeting on Sept. 26.
Superintendent Gaylon Taylor presented the proposed budget. Technology amounts in the budget were discussed. The District will invest $65,000 to purchase Chrome books and wireless capabilities throughout the district.
Board members approved the ACSIP and Statement of Assurances related to the elementary and secondary education act of 1965, No child Left Behind and Public Law 107-110.
The board also approved the special Education Assurances and Agreements for School Age-Services.
The next regular meeting will be Monday, Oct. 14.
