Mrs. Patsy Fyles

Patsy Ann Fyles, 78, of Batesville, formerly of Manila, passed from this life Saturday, Oct. 5, 2013, at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro. Born March 7, 1935, in Manila, she was the daughter of the late Charlie and Rossie Belle Rodgers Meacham and was a 1954 graduate of Manila High School. She lived many years in Newport where she was member of the First United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women, the City Beautiful Commission, and the Business and Professional Women's Club. She had been a Batesville resident for the past 20 years where she was a retired teller for Worthen Bank.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Max Owen Bowie, Sr.

Survivors include her husband, Robert Fyles of Batesville; one son, Max Owen Bowie, Jr. of Lakewood, Wash.; one daughter, Ann Breckenridge of Batesville; one sister, Laura Hutton of Kennett, Mo. She also leaves her grandchildren, Katie Bowie and Omer Savir, Lana Beth Bowie, Annabelle Bowie, Andrew and Tasha Breckenridge and Alexandra Breckenridge.

There will be a private family memorial service with Rev. Trevor Dancer officiating. Burial will follow in Manila Cemetery under the direction of Howard Funeral Service of Manila. Friends may sign the online guest register at www.howardfuneralservice.com.
