Jerry Mac Robins

Jerry Mac Robins, 70, of Lake City, formerly of Leachville, died Thursday, Sept. 5, 2013, at his home. Born in Leachville he was the son of the late Odell and Versal Pilgrim Robins and had been a Lake City resident since 1974. He attended Leachville High School and later received an associates degree from Arkansas State University in Marked Tree. He retired from Lincoln Manufacturing after 29 years of service. Jerry was a devoted and loving man that cared deeply for his family and church. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and attending their various events. He was a man that always worked hard and enjoyed collecting clocks. He was also an avid fan of Elvis Presley and a member of the First Baptist Church in Lake City.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one son, Jerry Lee Robins; one brother, Marvin Robins, and two great-grandchildren, Kylan Lee Robins and Johnny Lee Byrd. Survivors include His wife, Joyce Robins of the home; two sons, Matthew Robins and Michael Robins, both of Lake City; two daughters, Donna Felton and her husband Dale of Lake City and

Diane Andrews of Brookland; two sisters, Linda Blocker of Vilonia and Elizabeth Gathright and her husband John of Monette. He also leaves 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 10, at Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Leachville with the Rev. Jon Lorch officiating. Burial will follow in the Leachville Cemetery. The family will receive visitors Monday evening from 6-8 at the funeral home.

Serving as pallbearers are Keith Blocker, Jason Felton, Tyler Andrews, Suan Robins, Jake Robins and Travis Felton. Serving as honorary pallbearers were Joseph Andrews, Nicholas Andrews, Jared Robins, Aiden Andrews and Gavin Robins.
