Entergy Arkansas meter readers get new uniforms
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - AccuRead meter readers' uniforms are changing to make them easier to immediately recognize as meter readers and more visible to motorists. AccuRead is a contractor that reads all customers' meters for Entergy Arkansas, Inc.
The new uniforms include a bright yellow/orange T-shirt with Entergy and AccuRead logos on the front and the words "METER READER" covering the upper part of the back. The shirt includes reflective bands, so it also serves the function of a safety vest. AccuRead meter readers also will wear dark blue ball caps with the AccuRead logo on the front and Entergy's logo on the back. They may also wear a dark blue jacket with the AccuRead logo.
The new uniforms will be rolled out over the next few weeks.
