Anna Sue Rabey, 75, of Monette, formerly of Manila, the widow of C.J. Rabey, died Monday, Aug. 19, 2013, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. Born in Quitman, she was the daughter of the late Jasper and Florence Bennett Johnston and had been a longtime Manila resident before making her home in Monette eight years ago. She was retired from the former Magnek Tek of Blytheville.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by four brothers and five sisters.

She is survived by one son, Gary Rabey and wife Terry of Paragould; one daughter, Shella Booth and husband Robert of Manila; two brothers, Ferrel Johnston of Conway and Layne "Pee Wee" Johnston of Rose Bud; four grandchildren, Tisha Ray, April Hall, Joshua Rabey and Michael Rabey; six great-grandchildren, Shantel Benham, Cody Ray, Sarah Page, Ashton Hall, Taylor Hall and Willow Rose Atkins. She also leaves her companion for the past eight years, Leo Clayton.

Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 24, at Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Manila with Rev. William Piercy officiating. Burial will follow in the Manila Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors Saturday from 1 p.m. until service time.
