Monette Manor celebrated Western Day on May 15 in conjunction with National Nursing Home Week.

Pee Wee Thomas and Billy Perry of Leachville sang for entertainment.

Robbie Shirley provided the horses, Oklahoma and Rayne, for the residents and staff to enjoy feeding, petting, and riding.

Five of Monette Manor's residents rode the horses. They were Louise Mooney, 88; Larry Wilson, 63; Dorothy Waddle 88; Doris Ingram 92; and Harvey Brinkley 62.

The residents and staff dressed up in their cowboy, cowgirl, and Indian outfits.
