Elaine Aneita Guthrie

Elaine Aneita Guthrie, 66, of Bay, died Saturday, June 15, 2013, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. Born in Pontiac, Mich., she was the daughter of the late Dick and Dorothy Brooks Davis and had lived most of her life in the Jonesboro and Bay areas. She was a homemaker and was of the Christian faith. She loved motorcycling with her husband, and was a very caring wife, mother, and grandmother. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Donnie Davis.

Survivors include her husband of 47 years, Danny Joe Guthrie of Bay; four sons and daughters-in-law, Joe and Belinda Guthrie of Brookland,

Tommy and Anna Guthrie of Jonesboro, Timmy and Louann Guthrie of Bay,

Jimmy and Kimberly Guthrie of Jonesboro. She also leaves four brothers,

Richard Davis, Roger Davis, Skylar Davis, and Bill Davis, all of Michigan; 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Graveside funeral service will be 3 p.m. Wednesday at the Keller's Chapel Cemetery in Jonesboro with Rev. Marty Russell officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Howard Funeral Service of Leachville. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Leachville.
