Mrs. Vivian Nadine Martin, 82, of Caraway went home to be with the Lord on May 31, 2013, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. Mrs. Martin was born April 22, 1931, in Trumann to the late Herbert and Gertie Dunkerson Jeffers. Mrs. Martin was a member of the First Baptist Church in Caraway and had worked at Caraway Apparel and Chyral Day Care and loved all the children there. She also loved spending time with her family and friends.

Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Paul Vonzell Martin of the home; one son, Jeffers Martin and wife Libby of Paragould; one daughter, Chyral Adcock and husband Robert of Caraway; three grandsons, Shannon Adcock and wife Amanda of Bono, Isaac Martin and Evan Martin, both of Paragould; one granddaughter, Paula Timms and husband Chad of Caraway; two great-grandsons, Weston and Gillen Adcock of Bono; two great-granddaughters, Ashton and Taylin Timms of Caraway; one brother, Donald Jeffers and wife Mickey of Caraway; one sister, Margie Tyler of Caraway; three brothers-in-law, James Williams and Donnie Williams, both of Caraway, and Jerry Williams of West Helena; four sisters-in-law, Jean Jeffers of Caraway, Levetta Williams Archey and Patricia Williams Armstrong, both of Bay, and Betty Sue Davis of Salem; and a host of other family and friends.

Mrs. Martin was preceded in death by her parents; a husband, Elmer Lewis Williams, Jr.; one brother, Bill Jeffers; and one great-granddaughter, Angel Timms.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, June 3, at the First Baptist Church in Caraway under the direction of Rev. Rick Stevens. Interment will follow at the Caraway Cemetery under the direction of Faith Funeral Service. The family received visitors from 6-8 p.m. Sunday, June 2, at the church.

Pallbearers will be Terry Couch, Fred Couch, Randy Couch, Roger Williams, Ervin Smith, III and Greg Adams.
