New pastor to hold revival at Little River Baptist

Little River Baptist Church, Lost Cane Community, North County Road 309, will host a revival Wednesday, June 5, through Sunday, June 9. Services will begin at 7 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday and 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. Sunday.

Little River's new pastor, Brother Albert Mullins, will be bringing the messages. Brother Mullins has served Little River Missionary Baptist church since November.

He attended the Missionary Baptist Seminary from 1969 to 1971.

"I was saved and baptized at Landmark Baptist Church in Newport in 1971," he said.

In 1974 he and JoAnn Smith married. They have two grown children.

He has worked for Jackson Co. Grain Drier/Riceland Foods Co-op since 1971.

He has been in the ministry since 1987 and has served as pastor at Russell Missionary Baptist church, Meadowlake Missionary Baptist church, Lakeside Missionary Baptist Church and Landmark Missionary Baptist Church.
