Manila Cub Scouts helped Donna Jackson display flags early Friday morning at Herman Davis Monument in honor of Memorial Day. Jackson said Bennie and Joann Bennett have taken care of the flags for many years but were unable to do it this year and she appreciated the young Scouts for stepping in.

Manila city workers put flags along main street. Mr. Bennett, a retired Marine, has made sure the American flags are out on Memorial Day and Veteran's Day.
