Juan Leonardo Adams

Juan Leonardo Adams, 14, of Leachville, died Thursday, May 23, 2013, from injuries received in an ATV accident near Leachville. Born at Monticello, he had lived most of his life in Leachville and had just completed the seventh grade at Buffalo Island Central Junior High School. Juan was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Leachville. He was preceded in death by his great-grandfather, Charles Dean "Boe" Adams in 2010.

Survivors include his parents, Dean and Soyla Martinez Adams of Leachville; grandparents, Eddie and Martha Adams of Leachville and

Eloy Martinez of Mexico; great-grandparents, Mrs. Myrna Adams of Jonesboro; four brothers, Remigio Mondragon and Gilberto Mondragon, both of Hamburg, Adrian Mondragon and Johnathan Mondragon, both of Leachville; two sisters, Kaitlynn Adams and Diana Adams, both of Leachville.

Funeral service were 2 p.m. Sunday at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Leachville with Rev. Doug Criss officiating. Burial followed in Leachville Cemetery. The family received visitors Saturday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers were Eddie Wayne Adams, Chris Adams, Adam Schmell, Isaac Gonzales, David Talavera and Alex Talavera.
