Members of the Manila Pack 32 went to Heritage Park in Piggott April 19-21 to attend the Cherokee District Cub Family Camporee. This was the first camping trip for several of the Scouts.

During the weekend the boys were able to able to earn belt loops and patches for BB guns, archery, slingshots and fishing. They also earned their geology beltloop for visiting the Hemingway-Pfeiffer Museum and Educational Center where they learned about several types of minerals and were given the opportunity to dig for minerals.

There was a ceremonial campfire in which the Webelos were presented with their Arrow of Light award. The Arrow of Light award is the highest award a Cub Scout can earn and is the only Cub Scout award that carries over to Boy Scouts. The Webelos who received their Arrow of Light were Byron Stull, Ben Perry and Nick McDowell.
