Lady Rebels outslug Marmaduke

Riverside pounded Marmaduke 15-5 in 2A-3 softball action Tuesday afternoon on the road.

Taylor Archer banged out three hits and drove in a pair of runs while also picking up the victory on the mound for the Lady Rebels. Lauren Weaver stroked three hits and drove in a pair of runs while Kaitlyn Hale added two hits and two RIB for Riverside, who improved to 7-8 overall and 6-7 in league play.

The Lady Rebels fell Monday afternoon 12-0 to Marked Tree at Lake City.

Peyton Carter fired a two-hit five inning shutout, striking out 13 Lady Rebels while issuing only two walks. Carter helped herself at the plate, going 3-4.

Jay Perry had three hits for Marked Tree while Poohnu Perry added a pair of singles and three RBI. Kelsey Pitts went 2-2 while Shelbi Knight added a single and three RBI for the Lady Indians.
