BIC School Board discusses security improvements at the high school

The Buffalo Island Central School Board met April 8 discussing personnel matters, security improvements and the need for show animal housing for agri students and approving a student transfer.

The board authorized Superintendent George Edd Holland to work with Little & Associates Architects to improve security at the main high school entrance. The project will include construction of a wall, set of double doors and a transaction window for the high school principal's office.

The board went into closed session to consider personnel matters. No action was taken.

The board went into closed session for a second time to consider hiring but no action was taken.
