Jimmy Ladd, Sr.

Jimmy Ladd Sr., 58, of Corning passed away March 12, 2013, at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould.

Born Feb. 18, 1955, in Monette, Mr. Ladd was retired from Darling Store Fixtures. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and racing. He was of the Church of Christ faith.

On March 3, 1975, he was united in marriage to Carla Wooldridge Ladd. She survives.

Other survivors are two children Jimmy (Tonya) Ladd of Corning and Sherri (Billy) Hopkins all of Corning; mother Ann Ladd of Corning; three brothers Terry (Wendi) Ladd, Jerry (Glenda) Ladd, and David (Judy) Ladd all of Corning; one sister Cathy (Bobby) Harpole of Imboden; five grandchildren Krissy, Sam, and David Ladd, Carlee and Terry Don Hopkins; and several other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father Shelby Ladd, Sr. and one brother Shelby Ladd, Jr.

Funeral service will be Friday March 15, 2013, at 10 a.m. at Ermert Funeral Home in Corning with Johnny Bradshaw officiating. Burial will follow in Black's Cemetery in Corning.

Visitation will be Thursday March 14, 2013, from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
