Over $7,000 for Make A Wish

Carol Hamrick, chair for the area Make A Wish, was joined by volunteers in a road block at the Monette Stop Light on Friday, Feb. 15.

Thanks to the generosity of the community the road block raised $7,278.11 for the Make A Wish Foundation. It was held the same day as the Radiothon for Make A Wish. In addition to the roadblock students and teachers at Buffalo Island Central raised over $3,500 to help grant wishes.
