Manila Nursing Center welcomes new administrator

A reception welcoming new administrator Jerod Straver was held at the Manila Nursing Center Thursday evening.

Straver, a native of Trumann, is a 2010 graduate of Arkansas State University.

Manila Nursing Center staff hosted the reception serving refreshments and welcoming the community to meet the new administrator.

Straver said he received a great reception from the staff and residents at Manila Nursing Center.

"This is a wonderful facility and the staff is excellent," he said.

He and his wife, Erica, have one son Ian, 2. Erica is a nurse at St. Bernards in Jonesboro.

Among the well wishers were Kelli Adcock and Jon Knopp, community marketing directors, Vincent Grant, director of operations, several family members including Mrs. Straver's son, his parents, grandparents, sister-in-law, Mrs. Straver's grandparents, and cousin Emily.

Straver thanked everyone for attending and is looking forward to a great year at MNC.
