County libraries to carry tax forms

Friday, February 1, 2013

Several Mississippi County and surrounding area post offices are not carrying tax forms this year but the forms are available at the county libraries.

Although post offices in Blytheville, Osceola and Manila will not have tax forms this year, the libraries in those towns will. Residents can go to their local library and pick up tax forms such as the 1040 EZ. Jay Ziolko, director of the Mississippi County Library System, explained that not all the tax forms are in yet but the county libraries do have the forms that are available and will get the rest as they are made available. Ziolko went on to say residents can visit for more tax information.

The Blytheville Public Library is open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday and Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and from 10-4 p.m. on Sunday.

Libraries in Manila, Osceola, Keiser, Wilson, Leachville and Luxora are open Monday, Wednesday and Friday. For library hours residents can visit the Mississippi County Library System's website at
