Linda Gale Morris

Linda Gale Morris, 48, of Monette, formerly of Manila, died Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. Born at Manila, she was the daughter of the late Vera Jean King Gordon and had been a lifelong area resident. She attended Caraway Public Schools, was a retired bookkeeper for Universal Manufacturing in Blytheville, and was of the Pentecostal faith.

Survivors include her husband, Robert Morris of Monette; one son, Robert Dewayne Morris of Honolulu, Hawaii; two daughters, Heather Jean Mitchell of Paragould and Tiffany Morris of Monette; her father, Jessie Gordon of Leachville; four sisters, Sherry Anderson of Blytheville, Tina Brewer of Osceola, Reba Barnes of Leachville and Shelia Deason of Tyronza; and 11 grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 5, at the Howard Funeral Service chapel in Manila with Rev. Linda Brewer and Rev. Alvie Wilbanks officiating. Burial will follow in Manila Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 Monday evening at the funeral home.
