Prize donated to food ministry

Monette Housing Authority Executive Director Barbara Suber and MHA Board Chairman Jerry Reed accepted the gift for use at the BIBLE food bank located on Gann Street.
The winner of the 7.2 cu. ft. chest-type freezer full of frozen food raffled off by the BIC High School FBLA was the BIC West Elementary Office. They donated the freezer and food to The BIBLE (Buffalo Island Better Life Experience) food ministry. The value of the freezer and food is over $500. A total of $970 was raised to help with FBLA expenses for the year.
Amber Sparkman won first prize for selling the most tickets.
