Tuesday, January 8, 2013

Caraway Police Officer Kevin Tucker arrested Jeremy Taylor, 35, of Osceola, at approximately 9:10 a.m. Jan. 1.

According to the police report, Officer Tucker made contact with the subject at the intersection of County Road 861 and State Highway 158. Taylor was cleaning mud off of his windshield. Officer Tucker discovered warrants for the arrest of Taylor from the City of Jonesboro. A search of Mr. Taylor located an aluminum foil package containing methamphetamine.

Taylor was charged with possession of a controlled substance methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia, both Class D felonies.

Judge Keith Blackman found probable cause to charge Taylor with the offenses on Jan. 3, and set bond at $50,000.
