An arts/crafts time was held Monday morning at the Mississippi County Senior Citizen Center in Manila.

Amanda Adams, Danielle Davis and Kay Lucy from the Blytheville center were on hand to help the Manila group create Christmas snow globes using baby food jars and hot glue.

Adams said using one drop of Dawn dishwashing liquid, glitter, a small holiday figurine, hot glue, and decorative ribbon is all it takes.

"This is a great project for people of all ages to create," she said.

The Manila center is open Monday through Friday for area senior citizens. They enjoy exercise, arts/crafts, games, and much more. Lunch is served daily.

The Manila Center will be closed Monday and Tuesday, Dec. 24-25, for the Christmas holiday.
