According to David Tennyson, publisher of Village News Inc., which encompasses the Blytheville Courier News, the Osceola Times, the Democrat-Argus and the Steele Enterprise, Lisa has worked at the Steele Enterprise for over 10 years. "Lisa had suffered with a variety of health issues for years, but I can tell you, she never missed getting a paper out on schedule. Her dedication to the newspaper and community will be greatly missed."
Bess Ann Utley-Pease has assumed Lisa's role at the Enterprise. "She is originally from Steele, and has been working in the newspaper business for years," Tennyson stated. "Replacing Lisa will take a lot of dedication and effort, but Bess Ann knows her stuff."
"I will do my best to fill Lisa's shoes, but it won't be an easy task," says Utley-Pease. "This is my hometown, and I plan to take care of your baby, Lisa, - The Steele Enterprise -- in your honor."
