It took a big mixer to keep up at the Manila Lions pancake supper. Pictured is Lion Tracey Reinhart.
The Lions cooked pancakes starting at 5 p.m. at the school cafeteria and continued serving pancakes throughout the evening following the Manila Christmas parade.
Members of the Manila High School Leo Club helped serve the pancakes.
The Lions pancake supper is a Christmas tradition that kicks off the season each year. Proceeds from the supper are used to help with the Goodfellow baskets distributed. Last year the Lions delivered 100 baskets.
This year the food baskets will be delivered on Dec. 24.
Members of the Lions Club expressed their appreciation to everyone who participated and helped make the event a success.
