Mrs. Naida Olean Fulford, 89, of Paragould, former longtime Cardwell, Mo., resident, passed from this life Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2012, at the BelleMeade Nursing Center in Paragould. Born at Arbyrd, she was the daughter of the late B.H. Hassell and Bertha Rylee Carter and had lived most of her life in Cardwell. She was a homemaker and a member of the Redeemer Lutheran Church in Paragould.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by four brothers, Ulyss Carter, Miles Carter, Kenneth Carter, and Jerry Carter, and two sisters, Alma Glud and Lou Ingram.
Survivors include two stepdaughters, Rita Moore of Monette and Brenda Matheny of Leachville. She also leaves several nieces and nephews.
Graveside funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Cardwell Cemetery with Rev. Jon Bischof officiating. Burial was under the direction of Howard Funeral Service of Leachville. There was no visitation.
