Mr. Barry Roger Wooldridge, 50, of Caraway, Ark., died Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2012, at his home after a brave battle with cancer. Mr. Wooldridge was born Dec. 13, 1961, in Colorado to the late John Wooldridge. He was the owner of Diesel Works in Caraway and loved spending time with his family and friends. Mr. Wooldridge attended the New Hope Baptist Church in Caraway and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his wife of 14 years, Ladonna Wooldridge of the home; one daughter, Shailey Wooldridge of the home; three granddaughters, Hailey Holt, Heidi Holt, and Hanna Holt of the home; two stepsons, Jered Holt of Pine Bluff, Ark., and Barry Strong and wife Val of Powhatan, Ark.; two stepdaughters, Chasity Strong of Oklahoma and Kailey Holt of Jonesboro, Ark.; seven other grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.
Mr. Wooldridge was preceded in death by his father and one son. Bobby Matlock.
Funeral services were 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 23, at the New Hope Baptist Church in Caraway with Rev. Heath Hawkins officiating. Burial followed in the Caraway Cemetery under the direction of Faith Funeral Service of Manila.
