The Leachville Police Department conducted a "buy/bust" inside the City of Leachville on Thursday, Nov. 15. A purchase was made for methamphetamines.
Brian Keith Elumbaugh, 34, and April Swanner, 31, both of 615 Texie Avenue, Monette, were arrested. The two are originally from Trumann.
A total of 2.4 grams of methamphetamines were recovered at the time of the arrests. Both were charged with delivery of a controlled substance (methamphetamines); possession with intent to deliver controlled substance (methamphetamines); and endangering the welfare of a minor child.
Both Elumbaugh and Swanner are being held at the Mississippi County Detention Center without bond. They were scheduled to appear before Judge Langston on Monday, Nov. 19, for a probable cause hearing.
Agencies involved were Leachville Police Department, 2nd Judicial District DTF, and the Mississippi County Sheriff's Department.
