Lester Charles Albecht

Lester Charles Albrecht, 73, of Manila, passed from this life, Thursday, Nov. 15, 2012, at his home. Born in St. Louis, Mo., he was the son of the late Gottlieb and Esther Orth Albrecht and had lived most of his life in Manila. He was retired from Southworth Inc. in Manila, and was a member of the Blackwater Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Patsy Morris Albrecht.

Survivors include one son, Steve Albrecht of Manila; one daughter, Anntricia Scrivner of Manila; three brothers, Alfred Albrecht, Arthur Lee Freeman and DeWayne Freeman, all of Florida; three sisters, Katherine Hunt and Marie Martin, both of Manila, and

Leona Duncan of Puxico, Mo.; and two grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 20, at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Manila with Rev. William Piercy officiating. Burial will follow in Manila Cemetery.

The family received visitors Monday evening from 6-8 at the funeral home.
