Members of the 2012-13 Business Department Advisory Board Committee met Oct. 17 to discuss the area employment outlook, equipment and software trends, and technology needs.

Tonia Eubanks, high school business teacher, and Heath Hawkins, middle school and high school business teacher, welcomed the guests and expressed their appreciation to the committee members for their support of the Manila Business Department.

Board members completed information forms. The committee members heard a report on the course of study and program offerings.

Advisory board committee members include Danny Robins, president of southern Bancorp, Manila; Angel Farmer, CPA, Thomas Speight & Noble; David Shedd, Misco Insurance; Shelly Barley, human resources manager, Southworth Products; and Revis Blaylock, news director Town Crier.
