Seminoles ambush Lions 52-6
Osceola routed Manila 52-6 Friday night at Seminole Field, setting up a showdown with Rivercrest for the 3A-3 conference title on Thursday.
The Seminoles got two touchdowns apiece from Jamal Jackson and Korliss Marshall in building a 52-0 halftime lead. Osceola also got offensive scores from Anfernee Jones and Maurian Carr. Tevin James returned a fumble 50 yards for another Seminole score.
Manila got on the board in the second half when senior quarterback Zach Reinhart sneaked in from one yard out.
"I am proud of the kids. They really played hard tonight. We were just outmanned. Osceola has a great football team," said Lion Coach Jerry Castor.
