Carrie Jo Jones

Carrie Jo "Josie" Jones, age 36, of Manila, passed from this life, Tuesday Oct. 2, 2012, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. Born at Blytheville, she was a 1993 graduate of Manila High School and had lived most of her life in Manila. She received an associate degree in nursing from Mississippi County Community College and worked as a nurse and office manager in her husband's medical practice in Blytheville.

Survivors include her husband, Dr. Joe V. Jones of the home; a son, Robert "Robby" Orr, III of the home; four daughters Sydney Elixis Wagner, Sarah Elizabeth "Libby" Orr, Lauren June Jones, Abby Remington Brewer, all of the home; Her parents, Bobby Brewer of Hardy and Dona Brewer of Manila;a brother, Shane Brewer of Hardy; and a sister, Haley McCallie of Manila.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 9, at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Manila with Rev. Robert Christian officiating. Burial will follow in Manila Cemetery.
