The second annual three-man scramble to benefit Baby Basics of NEA was held Friday at Big Lake County Club in Manila with 15 teams participating.
Coordinator Brandi Hurst expressed her appreciation to everyone who participated, sponsors and all who worked to make it successful.
All ages participated in the tournament helping to raise $3,000 for Baby Basics of NEA.
Baby Basics is a non-profit organization providing diapers to working families on fixed incomes.
This year there was an added fund raiser to the event giving the golfers the option to purchase a mulligan (purchasing one extra shot) with the proceeds going to Baby Charlotte. Charlotte is the new daughter of John and Danna Deaton and is in Children's Hospital in Little Rock and will be undergoing surgery. The mulligan purchase raised $270.
The winning team for the tournament was Corey Craine, Jeremy Murray and Barry McGee. They shot a 58, 14 under.
