Nocturnal Greatest hits visit libraries

Monday, June 25, 2012

Big snake.
Eating out of my hand.
Bob Tarter of the Natural History Educational Company of the Midsouth visited the Leachville and Manila Public Libraries on Monday, June 18. He brought a variety of animals for the program of "Nocturnal Greatest Hits" including a tarantula spider, fruit bat, albino burmese python, fennec fox, and red kangaroo.

Children and adults alike had a wonderful time learning about the individual animals and their habitats. The NHECM will visit the Leachville and Manila Public Libraries again Monday, July 9, to present their "World of Reptiles" program.

For more information about these and other great programs visit your local library.
