20th anniversary Buffalo Island Classic Cruisers Car Show held

The Buffalo Island Classic Cruiser 2012 Car Club celebrated its 20th car show Saturday, April 28. The annual event is held at the Caraway Park.

Just like new.

Participants were from Jonesboro, Blytheville, Turmann, Caraway, Pocahontas, Leachville, Paragould, and Coldwater, Miss.

Drawings were held throughout the day as cars from the 1930s up were on display.

A special award was presented to Bud Hufford of Paragould who has never missed a BICC show.

Winners included Longest Distances, Gerald McAbee, of Coldwater, Miss. (100 miles); Best Engine, Roy Bullock of Jonesboro-2006 Corvette; Best Interior, Roger Wagner of Jonesboro- 1932 Ford; Best of Show, Freddie Foreman of Jonesboro-1963 Thunderbird; and Best Paint, Jim Darnell, Jonesboro-1931 Ford A Rod, four door.
