Manila's third annual Homecoming Show featuring recording artists Kenny Seratt and Jerry Jaye, both natives of Manila, was held at the community center on Friday night.
Joining Jerry Jaye was his wife, Darlene Battles, a gospel singer. Several of the former Jaye Walkers who played with Jerry Jaye joined him on stage.
Local musicians played for the annual event.
Also joining the group was Paul Bobbitt from Plantation Park Theater in Jonesboro.
Former Manila Mayor Clifford Veach has been instrumental in coordinating the Homecoming events. He praised both Jerry Jaye and Kenny Seratt for their accomplishments and taking time to return to Manila.
"I think this was the best one yet," Veach said.
Some of the musicians included Eddie Webb, Jamie Holt, Dennis James, Jimmy George, Rick Robinson, Mickey Joe Littlejohn and others.
Jerry Jaye and Kenny Seratt shared memories of their years in Manila and gave the audience an outstanding show.
