Buffalo Island FFA planning dinner/auction

Buffalo Island Central FFA is planning a second annual dinner and auction.

It will be held on Tuesday, March 13, at the elementary school cafeteria in Monette. The dinner will begin at 5:30 p.m. and the auction at 7:30 p.m.

Cost for dinner will be $7 with children under six free.

There will be over a hundred items to auction. Drawings will be held.

Anyone who would like to donate an item to the BIC FFA can contact Bruce Fires, FFA adviser, at 486-5512.

Mr. Fires expressed his appreciation for the community support for the FFA program. He said there will be chemicals, feed, livestock supplies, hunting equipment, gift certificates, duck calls and a variety of items on the auction.

Proceeds will go to the FFA projects.
