Manila rolled past both Riverside and Buffalo Island Central last week, defeating the Rebels 75-54 Tuesday night at Manila before bouncing the Mustangs 65-34 Friday night at home.

Manila led 18-12 after the first quarter and 31-24 at the half. The Lions broke the game open in the third period, outscoring Riverside 21-6 to take a 52-30 advantage entering the final frame.
Riverside was led in scoring by Logan Meurer who had a game high 28 points. Cole Winford pitched in 11 more.
Manila won the senior B game 49-39.
Scott Eubanks and Garrett Baker pumped in 15 points apiece in Manila's win over BIC. The Lions (18-7) also got 11 points from Zack Day while Blake Carr scored 10.
Alex Field led BIC (15-15) with 12 points.
The Mustangs won the senior B game 44-41.
Riverside hit 23-28 free throw attempts and disposed of Brookland 56-48 Friday night at Caraway.
The Rebels (12-19) outscored the Bearcats 19-8 in the fourth quarter to rally from three points down to pull out the win. Logan Meurer led Riverside with 19 points, including a perfect eight for eight from the foul line. Alteeno Sain also scored 19 points, including nine of 10 from the foul stripe for Riverside. Cole Winford grabbed 12 boards for the Rebels.
Dustin Stout led Brookland with 13 points while C.J. Henry added 10 points.
Manila will enter senior district tournament play Friday night in semifinal action at Corning.
Riverside and BIC will face off Monday at 5:00 in first round action of the 2A-3 District Tournament at Cross County High School in Cherry Valley.
Manila Lions will play at 4:30 p.m. at Corning.
