Terry Couch seeks re-election
Terry Couch is seeking re-election for Craighead County District 12 justice of the peace. He is a republican seeking a third term on the Craighead County Quorum Court.
"I have served the Eastern District and Craighead County for the last three years," Couch said. "I have been priviledged to serve as the Roads and Transportation Committee chairman this last year and also served as a member of the Craighead County budget committee.
"I will be traveling to Washington, D.C., with the Craighead County delegation as we try to secure funds for our county. I am proud we as the court have been able to implement a program to update our road equipment, serve the people of Craighead County, and take care of our employees, all in difficult economic times. I have pursued all requests brought to me in a timely manner and I desire to continue to do so."
Couch and wife Cynthia have been married 32 years, and they have three children and four grandsons. He has been employed by the City of Caraway as water and wastewater superintendent for the past 20 years. He is a deacon at Caraway First Baptist Church.
"I know God has given me a heart to serve people and I receive great contentment from being in a position to do just that," Couch said.
"I have been able to assist the cities in the Eastern District in both the areas of water/wastewater and as J.P. I am always just a call away. It's worth saying again, I have enjoyed serving as justice these past three years, and thank you to all who have supported and encouraged me."
