Jamie did a lot of the finishing work himself. The 1,800 square foot building is conveniently located and has a good parking area for customers.
Jackie Faulkner has been in the tax business in Caraway since 1976 starting in her home. She moved to an office on Kentucky Street in 1989. She has seen a lot of changes in her years in business. She said when she started the business she used carbon paper and an adding machine.
Jamie has been in the tax business since 2005.
With their continuous education in taxes they stay on top of all changes and offer all tax services. They offer short and long form income taxes and bookkeeping for businesses and farms year round.
The busy tax season has begun and electronic filing will begin Jan. 17.
The telephone number is the same, (870) 482-3794. Business hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., five days a week.
"For the convenience of our customers we will schedule appointments after hours," Jackie said.
A grand opening and ribbon cutting was held Thursday, Jan. 12. Among the participants of the ribbon cutting were Jamie's wife, Kathy, and their sons, Drake and Dawson; Kenneth Faulkner; Justin Faulkner; and Rick Stevens, Caraway recorder/treasurer.
"We appreciate our customers and look forward to serving them in the future," Jackie said.
