Leachville homes to be opened for holidays

Tuesday, November 22, 2011

Myrna Adams, Marti Edwards and Tina Nomland, Leachville residents, will open their homes for people to walk through and enjoy the holiday decorations from 1-4 p.m. Dec. 17-18.

They are asking for $10 donations. All proceeds will benefit the Arkansas Children's Hospital and Baby Basic of NEA. Visitors can also bring diapers and wipes to donate to Baby Basics.

Tickets will be available to purchase at Marti Edwards' home the day of the event starting at 12:45 p.m. Guests will receive a wrist band that allows access to the other homes on the tour.

The homes are adjacent to each other along Highway 77.

Cookies and drinks will be served at the Adams Estate. There will also be special visitors from the North Pole. Guests may bring their cameras.

The Adams Estate will open the gates for drive through tours to see the Christmas lights starting Friday Nov. 25 through Jan. 1, from 6-9 p.m. Again, any donations will benefit ACH and Baby Basics of NEA.

There will be area people giving their testimony of being touched by both of these worthy organizations.
