Gwenda Reeves

Mrs. Gwenda Reeves, 72, of Trumann, Ark., died Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2011, at her home after a brave battle with cancer. Mrs. Reeves was born Nov. 14, 1938, in Boynton, Okla., to the late Albert and Anna Shadwick Collins. She was a member of Freer Baptist Church, Trumann, made ceramics and loved spending time with her family and friends.

Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Timothy B. Reeves of the home; two sons, Dusty Shipley of Morris, Okla., and Billy D. Reeves of Newman, Calif.; one daughter, Rebecca Stafford of Morris, Okla.; three brothers, Tommy Collins of Sand Springs, Okla., Ronnie Collins of Tulsa, Okla., and Daryl Collins of Muskogee, Okla.; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

Mrs. Reeves was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Carmen Michelle Reeves; and one brother, Jimmy Collins.

The family requested private services and disposition under the direction of Faith Funeral Service, Manila, Ark.
