Little book signing well attended

Charlene Pillow Little sailed through her very first book signing with flying colors at the Buffalo Island Museum on Oct. 23. She soon found herself sold completely out of books as family, friends, schoolmates and regional book enthusiasts attended the event.

"I was just overwhelmed to see how many people came out to the museum last week," Little said. "Even my brother Larry (Pillow) surprised me, as I thought he was still out of the country. It was refreshing seeing cousins, classmates, old friends and especially making many new friends throughout this process."

Little was quick to encourage family genealogists and historians to write stories about their lives, as she had done in her book "The Song of Sarah".

"The completion of my book was a serious endeavor, but well worth the effort," Little said. "It is something I can hand down to my children and grandchildren."
