Mississippi County Judge Randy Carney declared Harry Wooten Day in Mississippi County and presented him with a plaque at his retirement reception at the Farm Bureau office in Osceola on Thursday, Oct. 27.

Wooten came to Mississippi County in 1971 and served as agency manager for South Mississippi County Farm Bureau for 41 years.
Phil Beall, who has worked with Mr. Wooten for 28 years, offered a tribute to Mr. Wooten.
His staff presented him with a rod and reel for him to enjoy.
Heath Adkisson, Mississippi County Farm Bureau president, expressed his appreciation to Mr. Wooten and presented him with a gift from the board members.
Arkansas Farm Bureau President Randy Veach also expressed his appreciation to Mr. Wooten for his years of outstanding service.
Several other friends and co-workers shared their memories and offered their appreciation and well wishes to Mr. Wooten.
Wooten said he has been blessed to be able to work at a career he loved. He enjoyed coming to work and is grateful for the wonderful staff he has had throughout the years.
He also expressed his appreciation to his wife, Nancy, for her support through the years.
"I want to thank all of my friends and my clients," he said.
