Manila Superintendent Pam Castor presents Janice Croom with plaque.

Manila High School staff and administration honored Janice Croom with a luncheon Tuesday.

Mrs. Croom served as high school secretary for 49 years. She decided to retire just before the beginning of the 20011-2012 school year.

Her co-workers could not let her leave without recognizing her years of dedicated service.

She received several gifts, hugs, and well wishes from friends at MHS.

Superintendent Pam Castor presented her with a plaque for 49 years of faithful service.
